will my xbox 360 get fix the right way or get banned ?

alright so my xbox 360 ( the halo 3 special edition ) just got dropped off today at the local game shop that repairs xbox’s and other gaming consoles. it had the red ring and was out of warranty and i didn’t feel like shipping it back to micrsoft. they gave me a estimate of 80 bucks. i want to know if they are going to do it right and will i get banned from xbox live if they forget to reconnect something or will i be fine ? was 80 bucks too much ? i pay when i pick it up ?

when mine got fixed not by Microsoft it got banned
